Our self-storage units are designed to provide secure storage spaces for personal or business use. To ensure the safety of your stored items, our self-storage facility employ various security measures such as security cameras, individual unit door locks, property lighting and property fencing.
Before renting out one of our self-storage unit, we want to ensure your investment is well protected against vandalism, arson, theft, and illegal activity. Here are some of our tools that can help you achieve this:
- Property fencing: We installed fencing around our facility a basic step towards protecting your renters’ belongings from theft.
- Lighting: We installed lighting around our facility to help deter criminals from targeting your property.
- Security cameras and video monitoring: Security cameras are installed around the property used to monitor activity around your unit. Video monitoring we also use to record footage of any criminal activity that may occur on your unit.
- Gate Access: A gate is installed to be used to restrict access to our facility.
It’s important to us as a self-storage unit operator to make a significant investment in the physical security of our property. Understanding common vulnerabilities and learning best practices for security is crucial in ensuring that our business remains secure.
In addition to these measures, there are other ways to security your items within our self-storage units. For instance, tenants insurance. We don’t provide tenants insurance (as a self storage operator we are not liable for any damage to your property) but if you have tenants insurance you can fill out our application form and send us your insurance information by clicking here and we will process your insurance information.
